Announcing the Launch of the Tulsa Rugby Foundation

Tulsa, OK – 6 August 2024 – The Tulsa Rugby Foundation is proud to announce its official launch as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to fostering, promoting, and advancing amateur participation in the sport of rugby throughout Tulsa and Northeast Oklahoma.

Our Mission: Our mission is to build a vibrant, inclusive rugby community that supports the development of players of all ages and skill levels, promotes the values of teamwork and sportsmanship, and encourages athletic excellence.

Our Goals:

• Help Grow the Tulsa Rugby Football Club in a professional, meaningful manner to compete in regional and national competitions.

• Promote Rugby in the Community: Increase awareness and interest in rugby through community events and rugby clinics.

• Support Amateur Rugby: Provide resources, coaching, and facilities for amateur rugby teams and players.

• Develop Youth Programs: Establish youth rugby programs and partner with schools and community organizations.

• Encourage Inclusivity and Diversity: Ensure rugby is accessible to all, regardless of background, age, or ability.

• Advance Athletic Excellence: Offer high-quality training and development opportunities for players and coaches.
